     This is entirely a work of fiction, meant for entertainment 
purposes only, any copywrite infringement is unintentional.  All 
characters are the property of their respective owners.

     This version of Sailor Moon is a combination of the DIC translated 
version and the 'official' japanese one.  That should explain any 
strangeness that you may notice.

     This story occures sometime after Reenie/Chibiusa goes back to the 
future, and after all the Outer Scouts are introduced.  Beyond that I 
have no idea when this takes place in the Sailor Moon timeline, so I 
reserve the right to use any and all attacks in this fan fic.

     I'm using the DIC versions of the names because I don't want to 
irritate anyone with my poor spelling of the japanese names, and because 
I don't know all the japanese names for the attacks.  However, I will be 
retaining the Japanese Silver Millenium names for Serena/Princess 
Serenity, and Darien/Prince Endyimon.

     I'm writing this story, because it seemed to me that the four 
Generals had a hard time, here they were, four good men who ended up 
killing their friends and the women they love.  I also  thought it about 
time that Pluto's origins were explained, since I've only noticed a few 
Sailor Moon fan fic that tells how she became the Guardian of Time, 
though there may be more.  I also wondered just how powerful Sailor Moon 
was compaired to the others, like Saturn or Pluto.  This is of course 
just my take on things, and like I said, I've only seen the DIC 
versions, and read some SM info on the net.

     These first few chapters are going to be more in the way of 
establishing things, so there won't be that much action in them as of 
yet.  Also, this is my first time writing anything with much in the way 
of action sequences, so please forgive me.

     I would like to thank to creators of my favorite Sailor Moon 
continuation fan fic, Sailor Moon Z.  It was their story that gave me 
the idea to do one of my own.

                           IN A TIME LONG AGO. . .

     Tens of thousands of years ago, the Earth, and the rest of our 
solar system was at war with endless armies of demonic monsters, Things 
from Beyond.  This occured for millenia, until finally, five archmagi, 
the greatest sorcerers alive, gathered together.  Their names were 
Serenity, Endyimon, Vulcan, Metallia, and the fifth archmage, whose name 
was lost to time.  They wielded power the likes of which man has never 
seen, the power of the gods, each with their own strengths;  Serenity 
was a healer gifted enought to raise the dead with power over the 
elements, Endyimon mastered the secrets of crystals and the hidden 
knowledge of the earth, Vulcan was the master of crafting things of 
enchantment, and Metallia knew the secret magics of life and death, the 
power to harness the life energies of people, either enhancing her own 
powers, or changing the creature to suit her will.  They crafted weapons 
of devestation, that people could defend themselves, and then they did 
war with the Things from Beyond.
     As the war became more fierce, nine women were chosen, and the five 
Archmagi granted them powers drawn from one of the nine worlds in the 
solar system, power based on an elemental force of nature, the Senshi. 
Finally, the five Archmages and the Senshi joined their power and wisdom 
to craft the ultimate talisman of magic, the Silver Imperyum Crystal.  
The Crystal drew power from all the nine planets in the solar system, 
and the nine elements the Senshi embodied, it would also draw power from 
the lifeforce of the wielder, at least, that was it's purpose.  The 
power of the Archmagi and Senshi joined was so great, that they touched 
upon the essence of Creation, the power that gave life to the universe, 
the power to create, or destroy all that exists.  Never realizing what 
they had done, the Archmagi then used the Crystal to unite their powers, 
first to craft the Great Wall, which banished the Things to their ebony 
home, though it cost Metallia her life.  After victory, the Senshi, and 
the remaining Archmagi divided that which they had created.  The 
Endyimon was made guardian and ruler of the Earth, with his lover, 
Senshi Earth.  The Silver Imperyum Crystal was given to Serentiy, the 
wisest and most compassionate of the group.  The Gate of Time was given 
into the care of Senshi Pluto.  The great weapons were given into the 
guardianship of Vulcan, with his wife, Senshi Mars, all the great 
weapons, but those that were in the care of the Senshi.  As a final 
deed, the Senshi and Archmages used the Silver Imperyum Crystal to begin 
the process that would give life to all the planet, and the moon of the 
Earth.  They declared that all the worlds would be ruled by the Senshi 
that bore that worlds name, and that all but the Mother World, Earth, 
would owe allegience to Serenity, who would rule from the Moon.  And So, 
it came to pass.  Their children, when they came to power declared that 
this would be a time of joy and piece for the people of the solar 
system, and they named this time after the talisman which had won the 
people their freedom, the Silver Imperyum Crystal.  Thus the Silver 
Millenium was born!

     In a dark place, hidden from all the world, two figures stood.  
One, a green-haired woman, held a staff shaped like a key, which bore a 
jeweled orb atop it's length.  The other, a man, was dressed as if he 
had steped out of the middle ages, in soft breeches with a white blouse.  
Around them, at the corners of the room, stood three giant crystals, 
each as large as a tall man.  In each was a large cloud of material.  In 
one, the cloud was of flower petals, in another, the cloud was made of 
tiny stars, and the third was a mass of grey light.
     "Are you sure you don't want to bring any of the Scouts into this, 
Pluto?"  The man asked his companion.  "At least Saturn or the Princess.  
Their strength and healing abilities would be a lot of help in this"
     Pluto shook her head.  "No.  I won't involve any of the others.  
Hotaru and the Princess are still too inexperienced with their healing 
capabilities for something of this magnitude, Archon, and if it doesn't 
work, I don't want them to feel any of the blame."  Pluto walked to the 
crystal holding the cloud of stars and laid her free hand on it's 
surface.
     "Soon," she whispered, "soon you and your loves will be rejoined, 
and your souls will be redeemed."  She turned to Archon.  "We should 
bring back Jedite first.  We can use his power to aid in bringing back 
the others."
     Archon nodded as Pluto waved her staff in the air.  A dark portal 
opened up, and out of it floated a giant block of crystal, with a man 
embedded in it.  Archon pointed his hand at the crystal, and as they 
watched, it slowly began to disolve.  A fine white mist rose from it as 
it shrank, until, finally, all that was left was the man who had been 
inside.  As soon as the last of the crystal that had imprisoned him had 
vanished, he collapsed to his knees.  Archon looked him over, trying to 
note any differences between him and the young man he had once known.  
He was a tall, blond man, with several scrapes and cuts about himself, 
and lines of dried blood marked his face and his torn grey uniform.  
Jedite looked up at his rescuers, and his eyes widend as he took in the 
dress of Pluto.
     "A Sailor Scout!"  He grated.  Jedite looked at his enemy, though 
it wasn't one of the three who had been around when he had been given 
the Sleep of Eternity, her costume and demeanor were unmistakable.  
Unnoticed, Archon lifted a crystal, which, aside from being a clear 
white, was identical in appearance to the one Zoicite had used to revive 
the Seven Shadows, and gain the Rainbow Crystals for the Dark Kingdom.  
It floated out of his hand, and began to emitt a powerful energy towards 
Jedite.  Jedite clutched his chest as if in pain.  Quickly, before he 
could attempt to counter it, Pluto caused a portal to open in front of 
him, a portal not to transport something or someone through space and 
time, but rather to show something, which became apparent as images 
appeared in it.  Images of Jedite and a beautiful young woman with long 
dark hair, a woman who obviously loved him, and whom he loved just as 
much.  Images which Jedite could easily see.  Jedite frowned at this, 
the woman he was looking at, who appeared to love him, was none other 
than Raye Hino, Sailor Mars, his sworn enemy.  He was so confused about 
this that he barely noticed the strange sensation in his chest began to 
strengthen.
     "Remember!"  Pluto whispered, as a beam of light speared from the 
Garnet Orb on her staff to Jedite's forehead.  His eyes widend as 
memories pored into him.  Memories of fighting beside his fellow 
Generals of the Dark Kingdom, fighting 'againt' the youma that served 
them!  Memories of friendship with the Sailor Scouts, bowing to a young 
man in black and silver armor, with all the loyalty that he had given 
Queen Beryl, but without the fear that created it.  Memories of the love 
he had for one Sailor Scout, for one woman, for one...
     "NOOO!!!"  He yelled, as he tried to deny, to fight, the memories 
that rose up from the depth of his soul.  By now the sensation in his 
chest was too strong to ignore.  He attempted to fight, to struggle 
against what was happening, but he was too weak and confused.  First 
from his final battle with the Scouts, then from Queen Beryl's 
punishment, and finally from the images he had seen.  Together, they had 
prevented him from resisting when it had started, now it was too late, 
and the man that had been in those images of the past, the Guardian of 
Prince Endyimon, the lover and soulmate of the Senshi Princess of Mars, 
the man that Jedite had once been, was reborn!  His chest rippled like 
the surface of a pool of water when it is disturbed, and a black crystal 
shard flew out onto the ground.  Jedite collapsed.  Quickly, Archon 
strode to his side, and kneeled over him, and after a quick look, 
nodded, and stood up.
     "Most of the negative energy is gone from his system, Pluto.  The 
rest should leave him shortly."  Pluto nodded, as if expecting that.  
She turned to leave, pausing only to pick up the dark crystal shard.
     "Clean him up, and get him healed.  When you feel he's sufficiently 
recovered, send for me."  With that, a dark portal opened up and 
swallowed her whole.  Archon shook his head as he picked up the pale 
young man who lay at his feet.
     "Sometimes I wonder if she does that just to be annoying."  He 
said.
     "I heard that."  Pluto's voice rang out in the room.  A large 
sweatdrop appeared on Archon's head.


     "Look out!"  Sailor Mars yelled, but it was too late.  A crackling 
javelin of energy flew from the monsters hand/claw, narrowly missing 
Sailor Mercury.  Mercury was thrown several meters away, and landed 
hard.  Sailor Jupiter frowned in shared pain.  If the Sailor Scouts 
hadn't been tougher than normal humans, then Mercury would have been 
badly hurt.
     "Jupiter Thunderclap, ZAP!"  Jupiter yelled as she threw the sphere 
of magical lightning at the monster.  This was their first battle in 
over a month, and she had finally gotten a new boyfriend.  The others 
had called her just before she could leave for her date, and she was 
MAD!  The red furred monster quickly dogged the ball lightning, letting 
it explode against the concrete sidewalk, but it was caught by Sailor 
Venus's Loveme Chain.
     The monster was knocked off balance, and got caught by a Celestial 
Fire Surround from Mars.  Sailor Moon ran over to Mercury.
     "Are you OK?"  She asked.  Mercury gave a shakey nod as she got to 
her feet.
     "I should be fine."  Mercury pulled out her computer, since at the 
moment, she wouldn't do much good in the fight.  Suddenly, the computer 
flashed a warning at her.
     "Get ready!"  Mercury yelled, "The monster's up to something!"  But 
the last of her warning was muted by the sound of a howling wind.  With 
a savage roar, the beast hurled a powerful wind at the scouts, throwing 
them against the nearby wall.  Only Mercury and Sailor Moon were still 
standing, the rest of the scouts sprawled on the ground.  The monster 
thrust out a hand and hurled another energy lance at the downed scouts.  
It sped towards them, only to be met and destroyed by a spinning 
crescent of silver light, and a crimson rose.  At the same time, a cloud 
of pinpoints of light, like stars from the heavens, swarmed around the 
monster.  Every time one of the 'stars' touched it's  fur covered hide 
it cried out in pain, and a scourched spot appeared on it.  As one, the 
scouts looked up to see who had aided them.
     On one side of the street where they had been fighting, stood the 
enigmatic form of their protecter, Tuxedo Mask, on the other, stood four 
armored shapes.  Their features masked by their iron grey helmets.  
Quickly, the four drew swords, and leaped to confront the beast.  Within 
moments, the creature was a pile of dust at their feet.  The armored 
warriors turned to the Sailor Scouts, and bowed.  Then, as silently as 
they had fought, they faded from view.  Tuxedo Mask leaped down and ran 
to the girls.
     "Are you okay, who were those guys?"  He asked, as went to stand by 
Sailor Moon.  The Scouts shook their heads in wonder.
     "Perhaps 'you' can tell us."  Mercury said.  All eyes turned to 
her.  "Before they vanished, I saw a symbol that all four of them had 
over their hearts.  A circle divided into quarters."
     "Symbol?"  He asked. confused.  What did a symbol have to do with 
him?
     "I noticed it too," Sailor Moon chimed in, "But what does it mean?"
     "Ever since we became Sailor Scouts," Mercury began, "I've become 
interested in astronomy, especially information about all the planets, 
especially Mercury, and the Moon.  I've learned the symbols of all of 
our planets, and since the signs for the planets are the same now as 
they were in the Silver Millenium, my computer has all the information 
about the planet, listed under it's symbol.  And the quartered circle, 
was the ancient symbol for the Earth!"  All eyes swivled to stare at 
Tuxedo Mask, present incarnation of the Crown Prince of the Earth.

     How do you like it so far?  In the next part, the scouts and the 
four restored Guardians will be rejoined, but how will everyone react to 
their oldest enemies returning, and who is behind this new wave of 
monsters?  Come Back and Find Out!

     So, what do you think?  This is one of my older fan fics, and I had 
it on file and though; I don't think I got much comment about this so I 
figured I would  send it to the FFML and see what people think.
     If you're wondering if I'm droping my other fics, don't worry.  
They're being worked on . . . slowly, but worked on.

     Chapter 1 is already worked on, I just need to do some final 
editing before I send it to the list.
