This is probably very very late in the writing. Wait....scratch
that, this is very late in the writing. For some reason I had ideas but
as soon as I wrote them, I came up with better ideas. Finally I settled
on one idea but it was hard to...put it into words. But here is a short
part of chapter 9 which i am working on now. Hopefully it'll be out
before the end of this week.
                              Oh my...Ranma
                                   #9
Ranma 1/2 and OMG! characters belong to their respective owners and not
me. C&C, MST would be greatly appreciated.

Ranma yawned as he opened his eyes, stretching himself routinely.
Scrubbing his eyes, he blinked once or twice, trying to stifle the yawn
emerging from him, as he took in his surroundings.

*Hey, where the heck am I!?* Ranma thought as shock permeated the
drowsiness of just waking up. "Either Urd's gone ballistic with the
decorations again or I'm not in the temple anymore," he said to no one
in particular as he examined his surroundings closer. He was lying in
soft, grassy moss and trees lightly decorated the landscape before him,
like dots on a canvas. It was one of the most perfect nature scenery
Ranma had ever seen. And after being on the road for ten years, he had
seen lots of places.

Just a few feet before him were steps that seemed to float in mid air
without any support. The steps were made of solid gold and each shone
with the radiance of a sun. The steps formed spirals, rising to the sky.
Soft strains of music, so sweet that it seemed that even the vilest
beast would have stopped, charmed by it, cut through the silent air.

The scenary behind him however was something else. It was, simply put,
black. Darker than midnight, it seemed to suck in light. There was no
sounds of music coming from there though, nothing but a deep silence as
if nothing lived there. The border between the two 'realms'(as Ranma had
come to think of them) was clearly defined, as if a sword had cut a
razor-thin line between the two. Not a single patch of darkness existed
in the realm Ranma was in and not a single ray of light shone in the
other.

Ranma sat there for a while before getting up. He wasn't going to get
closer to Nerima just by sitting around. He looked around the
surrounding area, searching for anything that could direct him to Nerima
or at least tell him where he was. *Where's a street sign when you need
one?* Ranma thought, finding nothing. As far as he could see, there was
nothing else in the realm he was in, only the spiral of stairs leading
up.

"Oh well," Ranma said, shrugging," Might as well start somewhere."
