Well, this was a little idea that popped in my head while hearing this
song, so I did a quick little fic about it.  This is my first song-fic and
also my first attempt at a script format, or as close as it gets with this.

Ranma 1/2 is the property of Rumiko Takahashi and quite a few other people.

"I still haven't found what I'm looking for" is the property of U2.

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

[The music starts and a shot of Ryoga appears, he's walking down a country
road toward a crossroads.  At the middle of the intersection is a sign
saying Nerima 50K and an arrow pointing left.  Ryoga gets to the turn and
goes right.]

I have climbed the highest mountains
I have run through the fields

[We see him standing on the top of Mount Fuji, or is it Everest?  Or
Kilimanjaro?  Then he is seen wandering through various fields, he passes
the same scarecrow three times.]

Only to be with you

[Images of Akane and Ryoga and Akane and P-chan appear.  Then a shot of
Ryoga at a campfire looking up at the sky and seeing her face in the stars.]

I have run I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls

[Shots of Ryoga running down a road followed by him crawling through a
desert.  Then a scene of him blasting through a wall with a Bakusai Tenketsu.]

Only to be with you

[A shot of Ryoga looking intently at a small picture, the camera zooms in
and it is seen to be Akane holding P-Chan and smiling widely at whoever is
taking the picture.]

[Various shots of Ryoga looking at maps and asking directions.]

[A shot of Akane kissing the top of P-Chan's head followed by a shot of her
taking care of a wounded Ryoga after a fight.  Then there is a shot of
Ryoga writing a love letter to Akane and deliberating over what her
reaction will be.]

I have spoke with the tongue of angels

[A scene of Ryoga stammering to Akane in his most nervous state, he
twiddles his fingers and scratches his head while blushing madly, trying to
work up the nerve to tell her how he feels and failing.]

I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone

[Shots of Ryoga fighting with Ranma followed by a scene of him shivering by
a campfire in the wilderness.]

But I still haven't found

[Another set of shots showing Ryoga around the world.  He walks by the
pyramids, looks off the top of the Empire State Building, crawls over the
faces on Mount Rushmore, and warily rafts across the Amazon river.]

Then all the colors will bleed into one

[A scene of Ryoga and Akane getting married, they're both smiling widely.
In one corner a dejected Ranma can be seen staring at the happy couple.]

But yes I'm still running.

[A montage of Akane being kind to Ryoga and P-Chan and giving him a few
brief moments of happiness in whatever form he might have.]

And my shame

You know I believed it

[A scene of P-Chan crawling out of Jusenkyo for the first time is followed
by one of him trying to get hot water as a small pig.  Next are a few shots
of him jumping out of various cookpots.  Finally a shot of Ryoga looking
out at a rainy sky and shivering beneath the awning of a store and waiting
for it to die down.]

[In the end there is one last montage of scenes of Ryoga asking for
directions and being in various places.  He stops in the middle of a road
and begins to walk towards the camera, as he does a faint dot in the
distance appears.  As he grows closer to the camera he appears to be
looking around for something.  The speck on the horizon grows a bit larger
but his back is turned and he doesn't notice it.  As the music winds down
his head passes beneath the view of the camera and it zooms in on the speck
in the distance.  It's Akane, she remains oblivious of the fact that Ryoga
was looking for her, or even of the fact that he was as close as he had been.]
