	A thought, perhaps it would make an interesting "crossover" story 
to suddenly have the "close as possible to manga" Ranma wake up in a 
world where all the fanfic conventions are in full force.
	Imagine his horror as he meets an Akane who mallets him for 
saying things like "Pass the salt", whose cooking eats through solid 
metal on its way to attack you, and who only has one emotional state: 
rage. 
	Imagine the surprise as he discovers that Nabiki is running a 
Fortune 500 company *and* an intelligence network better than most 
countries from her bedroom.
	Imagine his disgust as Ranma learns that Genma has in fact 
engaged him to over 85 women and counting, for things as trivial as a 
toothpick.
	Imagine the concern when Shampoo shows up bearing Passion Spice 
loaded ramen--except she forgot the ramen.
	Imagine the awe when Ranma realizes that in this world, Ukyou is 
practically a saint, and he supposedly tells her all his feelings and 
hopes. 
	Etc., etc.
	Meanwhile, the fanfic convention Ranma is in the "close to manga" 
world, and is surprised to meet a relatively calm Akane whose cooking is 
halfway decent, an Ukyou who is perfectly willing to toss bombs at his 
wedding, a Ryouga who he has to resort to shoddy tactics to beat, and so 
forth...
