You keep forgeting that Destiny is and has always been a practical
joker of the worst stripe. Murphy (the gremlin that refuses to be
responsible for the "law" can be considered a novice in this area.
-
Remember that Paradox is Destiny's playtoy, and suddenly the
world as we know it suddenly begins to make nonsense.
-
Yes, you may quote me on that.

After staying up and reading Converging Series (missing 16 hours worth
of sleep), I just couldn't help but sit there and let my brain
overanalize some of the consequenses led to in that story. Think about
it for a a minute... there exists an infinite number of worlds, so it
can be said that everything and anything must and will exist as well.
If you can concentrate on this concept without frying your brain, a
simple answer rises to the front... if everything must exist, then
destiny itself cannot. For every thing good that happens to a
character, there must also be a world where something bad happens
instead, creating a balance. Life plays no favorites for a individual,
as they recieve the random draw of the pot. In this viewpoint, destiny
is nothing more than blind chance... in effect, cancelling itself out,
and causing what I call the Destiny Paradox. In creating a life, it also
destroys it; happiness brings anger; peace causes war; 16 cups of coffee
cause endless ranting; etc.
Thank you for reading this! Feel free to flame/rant/etc...(you probably
want to!) ^_^
