As good as the movie was, there were a few MAJOR mistakes in it. For one thing
they combined the Chinese and Japanese culture together.  The garden was a bit on
the Japanese style (some of those trees do not grow in China... maybe now, but not
back then). As was Mulan's father's hairstyle (not Chinese).  For god sakes, girls
do not paint there face like that when meeting their future husband, Japan maybe,
but China NO!!! They looked like geisha girls, for goodness sakes! And the girls
will always had to have an escort. They do not go alone. Always with an escort,
whether with father, brother, or a high ranking servant (usually from the
husband), but always escorted. I don't know how they do things in Japan in the
olden day, but I do know how they did things in China in the olden day. I had  to
learn its history and culture because my parents wanted me to know my cultural
background.  But over all the movie was very entertaining and funny. I give it 4
stars.
