I don't know if this had been done before, but what if Uni-01 or MAGI had been
created by Microsoft?


"All right, initiate the start up program," Misato said.
"I-I can't," Maya said, "I'm getting an error message,"
"What kind of error message?"
"I keep getting 'Bad command or file name'" Maya said, reading her screen.
"Do it manually then," Misato offered.
"I'm getting a general protection fault," came the reply.
"What the hell's wrong with the damn computer?"
Maya tapped several keys. Looked at the screen and then tapped the keys again,
"Oh no. The entire system has crashed!"
"Well restart it then," Misato said harshly, "We're going to be sitting ducks if
an Angel attacks,"
"Hai," Maya said. She punched in a few keys. A moment later, she looked at the
screen and then said, "I'm getting the same 'Bad command or file name' error
again,"
Makoto said, "Why not just shut the entire system down, wait a few moments, and
then turn it back on and hope the problem magically disappears?"
Ritsuko, silent until now, said, "You've got to be kidding me. That's something
a Liberal Arts major would say when working with a computer. You're a computer
expert. Jeez,"
"No good, Misato," Maya interrupted, "I keep getting the same error. It's either
that or a general protection fault,"
"I guess there's a bright side....at lesat we're not getting the blue screen of
death," Misato said jokingly.
All of a sudden, the control room is filled with a blue light. Everyone slowly
looked up at the screen.
"Damn, I spoke too soon...." Misato muttered sullenly. She sighed, "Restart the
system but this time in safe mode,"
"But that's useless. We won't be able to activate Unit-01 in safe mode," Maya
said.
"Who cares, we've got more problems than that," Misato said. "Damn, I wish there
was some kinda patch that'll fix this,"
"There is, but we need internet access....and we can't get it because we can't
get the computer online," Makoto said.
"We are now in safe mode," Maya called out. She looked at the screen "Misato, I
think I know what the problem is. It seem two devices are using the same
channel,"
"Well, assign a device to another channel and restart," Misato said, annoyed.
Her hair was going to go grey prematurely at this rate.
Ritsuko looked at Misato, "Man, I really wish my mom didn't by MAGI's operating
system from Microsoft."
Misato nodded, "You're telling me,"
"No good, I'm still getting a general protection fault,"
"Argh!!!"


Sorry to all those Libral Arts majors. I'm just poking fun at ya. Don't take it
personally :)
