Why doesn't somebody start a website on which people can display fanfic
idea posts? That way people can post them on said web site instead of
sending them to the list; writers looking for ideas can visit it when
they want to, and no one else need be bothered by the flood of goofy
suggestions.

Numbski's Nekohanten <http://decaf.cgicafe.com/~numbski/neko/> is the
kind of thing I'm thinking of. I don't have the server space or the time
to do it myself, but anyone who has space on a server that will run CGI
programs could set this up.
