Here's a hint: 80% of what I write I can't do it without writing in
Ukyo somehow (that last one was part of the 20%, btw). Out of curiosity,
do fanfic writers in general find it easier to write about their pet
characters than others?

 
Quite the opposite. When I try to write one of my favourites (TJ), I
feel a taboo about keeping true to the form of the character, thus
making my writing about them much harder. I feel a higher standard is in
place for them than there is with other characters.
