Your first part seems very interesting, although I must point out that you
should fill in the plot more; i.e. explain why Soun died, show how Ranma
was involved (be sure to justify Akane and Nabiki hating him). Also, you
just skipped from 7 years ago to present day, without explaining what
happened in between; it would be nice to have a few paragraphs summarizing
what happened after Soun's death. Did Ranma just run away from Nerima? How
did the other characters react? Did Shampoo follow (or try to follow) him?
What about Ukyou, Kodachi, Ryouga, Kuno, etc.? And what were those other
characters' reactions to what had happened.

Other than that though, very interesting and I'd definitely read the next
part. And a suggestion: Given that this is Ranma we're talking about here,
it would be nice to have other characters make cameo appearances (after
all a Ranma 1/2 fic wouldn't be a Ranma 1/2 fic without the characters
:/)...perhaps Ryouga gets lost and bumps into Ranma, or something more,
like Ukyou coming to look for Ranma.
