	Tch-tch, things common in fanficts but nowhere in the manga part 
2: (Part 1 was the St. Ukyo bit)  In the Manga Akane 1, to an increasing 
degree only hit Ranma in response to his deliberate taunts (the way for 
him to reassure himself of her feelings without admiting his own 
feelings.) 2, she never used a mallet, prefering to use her fists, or 
something large blunt and available.  Oh and while I'm listing 
unsupported cliche's her cooking was improving at the end of the story 
and she could make a prety good curry.
