I don't use outlines myself, I don't use June's method either, usually it's

it ends....creepy doncha think?
Actually, that's where I get most of my inspirations. As a matter of
fact, I'm getting images from what I'm listening to right now, and
several of my episodes were spawned when I popped a CD in and just
kicked back to listen. On the flip side, I often come up with a
"soundtrack" for what I'm doing, a list of songs that fit the characters
and the situation, and cycle through them when I'm writing or need some
ideas. I usually can't write without some kind of music anymore, which
hampers those times when I try to get out with a notebook and pen
(*gasp!* ^_~), but I find it makes the times I'm sitting at the keys
(which are many) go smoother.
At the risk of spawning another thread, those authors who use music when
writing, what do you listen to? I'd list everything I play, but the
list would be far too long; everything from techno to classical,
soundtracks (animated and not so), pure rock to alternative, some things
that don't fit anywhere on the spectrum. Any takers?
