It sounds a bit childish, but read it to someone like a bed time story. If I have the time I'll read my fics over the phone to my best friend, you have no idea just how many mistakes you can catch. It also helps out on comma use as the pauses may/may not sound right.

That's my problem too.

I think I know what I've written.

The toughest thing about writing is knowing how to really read what is
written.  Anybody got any reading techniques?
