IN general, I have heard that most anime creators and productuion
companies do not mind fanfics. Rumiko Takahashi to my knowledge, stated in an
interview that she did not have any problems with fanfics (persuming they were
not Lemons or Darkfics.) Out of interest, When and why did the first fanfics
appear?
