Nihao!

I'm at work and bored, guess that means I'll recount my trip to Heaven, uh, I mean AX98.

Thrusday I found out that the car we were suposed to take down there at 1 am had broken down and that the earlist that it could get repaired was about 8-9 the next morning. (There are still some dents in the wall from where I expressed my annoyance.)

Friday we got on the road at 9:30 and after a nine hour drive arived in LA at 6:30. (I'm still sorry I missed everything, personaly I think there was a bug in Yggdrasil) Then we found out that the reg line closed at 6. (Insert sceen of Mr. Tendo crying here)

Sat. Got there bright and early and waited while the AX staff tried to get their network up and running. (Who's bright idea was it to take the network compleatly off line?) Then hit the dealers room when it opened. (I did, BTW post a few messages to the bords in hope that SOMEONE would show up, no one did)
Had lots of fun, bought too much stuff, then went to watch a few anime, including Slayers TMP, and El Hazzard OAV2. Tried to go to a party but the Hilton stopped it. Watched a BAD dub (Never, never, NEVER watch Vampire Wars) went back to motel.

Sunday watched a few more animes, bought some more stuff, went home and ploted what to do next year. And yes, I enjoyed myself, still a bit miffed that I missed the fic panel and dinner, but maybe next year.
