Not really a bad story, but there were a few things that niggled at me...
most obviously, the absence of Konatsu. The wedding was obviously the
one at the end of the manga, and yet Ukyou's suitor, lodger and employee
was nowhere to be seen. Somehow I doubt the male kunoichi would have let
Ukyou lock herself in a dark room for weeks on end, starving herself, or
let her think Tsubasa of all people was the 'only one who had ever loved
her.' Even if she doesn't love Konatsu, she knows he loves her, and she
at least considers him something of a friend. The only thing she ever
felt for Tsubasa was anger and dislike. If she's going to fall for anyone
after getting over Ranma, Konatsu seems a much more viable choice...
It wasn't really a bad story, but it seemed to have little in the way of a
gripping plot, instead being a summary of the events of the manga from
Ukyou's point of view, with a little added on near the beginning and at
the end. Coupling that with the completely unthinking dismissal of
Konatsu in favor of Tsubasa, and I have a hard time getting interested in
it.
