Hmmm...not that I don't trust your obviously expert and highly
educated opinion, especially since you seem to speak Japanese *and*
English so much better than I do, but as a matter of fact, Jadeite
suffered the same fate in the original version that he suffered in
the DIC adaptation.

Jadiete did die.

He was one of Endymion's protectors, and he still has the jewels of his 
four best friends, and their spirit still protects him.

However, this was only in the manga, not the filmed version.
