Well Usagi kind of mistreated Younger Mars, who had replaced Sakuya as
her guardian. That kind of ticked Sakuya off. I really think that
Sakuya over-reacted, but she's a nasty person and I don't like her

Yeah, but Sakuya was totally tee'd off at her the second she heard that
Usagi was trying to get her out of jail. This was before Usagi pulled the
stuff with Younger Mars, IIRC. (I sort of like Sakuya, btw, but I agree
that she's got her nasty moments.)

I don't think you're recalling correctly, but I could be wrong. I
thought Sakuya only "blew up" at Usagi after Usagi behaved nastily
towards the other Youngers and such.

Whwenever Doug gets around to checking his mail, I guess we can get the
answer directly.

However, Sakuya was ready to "forgive" (and I say forgive in a very
sarcastic tone) Usagi. She even invited Usagi to her wedding, after
which she planned to demonstrate said forgiveness.

Did she invite Usagi, or did she invite the Royal Family? Two different
things here.

She invited the Royal Family. However we've heard twice, once from her
own thoughts, that she was ready to forgive Usagi. (If she had issued a
Usagi-specific invitation, things might have come out differently.)

By the way, I'd like to take this opportunity to say a few things about
Doug's "Younger" series. In its own way, it's as different from
"standard" Sailor Moon fics as are Mark Page (also known as Dark Day for
Anime)'s fics.

While admittedly a little too "sugary" for my tastes, we get a detailed
picture of the dynamics of the Royal Family of Crystal Tokyo.
Definitely a different kind of story.

Even though I want to strangle the characters half the time (and shake
my head in disgust the other half), I think it's worth checking out.

The one thing I think the story misses is the lack of a "rebel"
character. Sakuya is the closest the story comes, and I can't seem to
identify with her at all. I don't know. Maybe a pacifist or something.

Anyone else have anything else to say about Doug and Will's fics?
