Hey, something came up in the Ranma ML, and its been bugging me.
The question's related to the thread on Iris, so if any of those
super-vocal people wish to give their views...

1.  Most people would consider sex between Akane and onna-Ranma to
    be homosexual. 

2.  Yet, in the recent debate about Iris, many people have stood 
    the stance that even if Ranma is trapped in his female form,
    he is undeniably, 100% male.

3.  So why the inconsistency?  I mean, you're either a guy or a
    girl, right?  If you're going to make the distinction, it 
    better be a consistent one...
