1. Forgotten Barrel
Author=92s notes: Well, this one popped into my head as I was working

I know it=92s an incredibly short beginning, and a lot of people may
be
wondering what a barrel full of Naniichuan water was doing in the
Tendo=92=

basement, but that would be explained later on if I chose to continue
th=
is.
What do you think?
I think we would need to know what that explanation is before
commenting. You see, what you've got here right now doesn't even hint
at any kind of plot--Not only is there no real tension added to the
Tenou/Saotome situation, one of the main problems has been repealed.
Without some idea of where you would go with this, there's no real way
of saying what my opinion of the story might be.
2. Dream Connection

paragraph fic. Actually, it=92s just supposed to be a prologue. I

have a little fun when I portrayed Akane suddenly figuring out that
Ryou=
ga and
P-chan were one and the same through a dream, so I tried to make it

she was dreaming about her and Ranma having slept together earlier

night.
Did I pull it off before the punch-line? Should I continue this?

she do, kill Ryouga in the morning, or actually try to think things

The punchline worked (for me, at least). With the way you've set
this up (Akane falling asleep again), I think Akane would be likely to
extract some kind of revenge, but one that was a little more thoughtful
in nature. I think she would try to get back at both guys for betraying
her trust like that, and the fathers, too, once she finds out they knew.
She might even list Nabiki as a co-conspirator,
having the middle sister come up with subtle ways of torturing them
psychologically to make them confess.
One scene that occurs to me would be (this would be after lesser
measures had failed) for her to provide Kasumi with some pork of unnamed
origin. After she, Ranma and the fathers had enjoyed the meal
thoroughly, she tells them that this was the best way she could think of
to keep the memory of P-chan alive and close to them all after that
horrible car accident... (cut to Akane, a smile on her face, listening
to the sounds of three men projectile-vomitting into a koi pond).
Overall, I think this has the most potential, as the theme of "Akane
learns the truth about Ryouga" never seems to be done as the main point
of a longer fic--it's either a shortfic/spamfic, or a minor element in a
longer epic.
3. I=92m Coming, Ranma! Let=92s Go for the Cure!
Author=92s notes: Okay, this is the last fic I made a beginning for.

be continued? The story itself would be put in the
"Ranma-goes-on-searc=
h-of-
a-cure" genre. On quite a few fanfics I=92ve read, Ranma decides to
go =
to China
to get a cure, and it means a terribly heart-wrenching break up
between =
him
and Akane, as he leaves her behind. So I decided to make one in which
s=
he
came along, the two of them facing obstacles and dangers together.

ne? However, the story would probably be mostly adventure, if I can
pul=
l it
off. So how about some feedback?
Hmmm.... You'll need a little more backstory (possibly through a
flashback), to let us in on why Ranma suddenly decided to go off _now_,
and why the "cast o' thousands" isn't dogging their every step. (Of
course, the "CoT" could be hidden, in the background, constantly trying
to drive them apart/together, all the while frantically trying to stay
out of sight--lots of humour potential, there.)
Overall, I'd say an adventure story with WAFF overtones is an
interesting idea, although, again, you need to find the overall
conflict/motivation.
