Also, Ranma has the talent of finding his oponents weaknesses and 
using them against them.  I agree that he isn't in the league of 
the DBZ characters for raw power, but he displays remarkable 
ingenuity in battle. 

Also, his Hiryu shouten ha is powered by his oponents battle aura.  
Can you imagine what it would be like if it were fed by a Saiyan.
