Your transparent character slam of Ryouga was more traditional,
but no less tiresome. Was his scene really necessary? Every
fanfic writer should at least try to give the characters they
don't like a fair portrayal, or do what Lawson does: don't
write them in at all.

*blink* Who has Lawson not written in to a fic?

One character doesn't appear in almost all my stories.  One guy I absolutely
despise, that I wish Takahashi had never created.  Yet she seemed to like
him, as she used him a lot.

Happosai.  <shudder>

Now, I *did* use him in one story (Adjustments) but I didn't enjoy it.  ^_^

Sasuke never appears for the same reason, although my dislike of him isn't
nearly as intense.  At least with him I have the excuse of saying he's an
anime-only character.
