This is eventually going to become part of an actual Ranma 1/2 musical
(that's right, a musical,) I am putting together. The Original Song is by
Garth Brooks

			(Ranma is lying awake in bed. He gets up and goes into the Hall.  He opens
the door to Akane's Room a little.)
	RANMA
		Sometimes late at night
		I lie awake and watch her sleeping
	
			(Ranma sees Akane, sleeping soundly. He closes the door and sits, leaning
against the Wall.)
	RANMA
		She's caught in peaceful dreams
		So I turn out the lights
		And lay there in the dark

			(Ranma flashes back to Jyusendo, where Akane had almost died, and he nearly
says "I love you" to her...)
	RANMA
		And the thought crosses my mind
		If I never wake up in the morning
		Would she ever doubt
		The way I feel about her in My Heart

			(Ranma stands and walks outside. P-Chan sees him and follows)
	RANMA
		If Tomorrow Never Comes
		Will she know how much I loved her
		Did I try in every way
		To Show her everyday
		That She's my only one
			(Ranma thinks back to all of his close battles: Herb, Ryu, Tarou, Cologne,
etc....)
	RANMA
		If My time on earth were through
		If She must face this world without me

		If tomorrow never comes.

			(Ranma thinks of his mother, so close, yet so far...)
	RANMA
		'Cause I've lost loved ones in my life
		Who never knew how much I loved them
			
			(P-Chan finds a thermous and spare clothes stashed in the kitchen.  He then
watches Ranma from the door.  Ranma sits on the porch.)
	RANMA
		Now I live with the regret
		That my true feelings for them
		Never were revealed

			(Ranma straightens up, fist clenched, as if making a solemn vow.  Ryouga
watches interestedly.)
	RANMA
		So I made a promise to myself
		To say each day how much she means to me
		To avoid that circumstance
		Where there's no second chance
		To tell her how I feel
			
			(Ryouga's gaze softens as Ranma's voice rises for the chorus:)
	RANMA
		If Tomorrow Never Comes
		Will she know how much I loved her
		Did I try in every way
		To Show her everyday
		That She's my only one
			(Ranma stands. Ryouga is lost in thought, as if making a hard decision)
	RANMA
		If My time on earth were through
		If She must face this world without me

			(Ryouga steps out of the doorway and places a hand on Ranma's shoulder)
	RYOUGA
		So tell that someone that you love

			(Ranma turns to face a smiling Ryouga.  Their voices blend for the final
line of the song:)
