I have an interesting idea. Ranma is a Snake Pliskin type 

characetr

who has to rescue a important buisnessman's (Soun Tendou) daughter 

(Akane

Tendou) from the Nerima prison ward of Tokyo (year 2015 or something 

like

that. Akane is being held captive by the Yakuza lord (Tatewaki Kuno) 

and his

sadistic right-hand woman (Kodachi Kuno) Along the way he meets a bunch 

of

friends/enmies who try to help/hinder him (Shampoo, Ukyou, The Golden 

Pair,

Mousse, Ryouga, et al.) Comments requested for the idea. It's supposed 

to be

more of a parody of the Escape From movies than a Carbon copy.

Well, from what I've gleaned of the Snake Pliskin movies they seem like 
parodies unto themselves but if you want to do this you have to remember 
a few things.

I've only seen the second one so... bear with me here.

1) Snake doesn't fall in love.  (This is a good thing)

2) Snake wins.  Always.

3) Snake is being used by the government.

4) There must be many bad puns and horrible funny jokes.  (Ask Gray 
Kleppe if you need help on this one)

5) Snake isn't a Ranmesque character-type.  His demeanor is actually 
more like Ryoga's or Tarou's in most circumstances.

Sounds like a good idea though, roll with it.
