Well, you told me that Kodachi was crazy because she does things which a
crazy person would do--not things that ONLY a crazy person would do. I
responded by pointing out that, in that case, Ranma is gay because he
does things a gay would do.

Again, I challenge you to point to behavior in the manga that would
DIRECTLY suggest that Kodachi is crazy--walking down the street
screaming "I am the Lizard King!" or something that ONLY a crazy person
would do.

Well, If I were walking down the streets of downtown Sacramento, and I
spotted a young woman in a leotard leaping down the street screaming "I
am the Black Rose" while scattering rose petals and laughing like a
loon, I would assume she was mentally ill, or at least on some pretty
serious drugs. 

We know Ranma isn't gay because we know WHY he does "the things a gay
would do," and they aren't the reasons a gay man would do those things. 
But why would a person who ISN'T crazy leap about scattering rose petals
and laughing?  As far as anything in the manga shows, Kodachi does this
stuff because she is a Very Strange Person, and that's about it.
