I will make this challenge once again. The last time I did in regards
to
Kodachi, you ignored it.
Well, you told me that Kodachi was crazy because she does things which a
crazy person would do--not things that ONLY a crazy person would do. I
responded by pointing out that, in that case, Ranma is gay because he
does things a gay would do.
Again, I challenge you to point to behavior in the manga that would
DIRECTLY suggest that Kodachi is crazy--walking down the street
screaming "I am the Lizard King!" or something that ONLY a crazy person
would do.
Why is Nabiki's characterization of someone interested in money
"bizarre"?
I can quote many examples from the manga. In one story, Nabiki buys a
front-row concert ticket, and Kasumi mentions her surprise that Nabiki
spent
money *at all*, even on an "indulgence". And then, of course, when
Ranma
accidentally burns said ticket, Nabiki spends an entire chapter making
his
life pure hell. Doesn't sound "harmless" to me.
It's interesting you should mention that story, because she also
mentions a designer shirt she had spent a week working for. She buys
things for herself, she takes Akane's things, and she gets people to get
her things.
And yes, Nabiki is harmless; she is interested in an easy, material
life, and NOT in hurting other people. Ranma suffered because he tried
to fight Nabiki.
