I'm wondering, though... there are a few people who have made
comments about Act 2 as if they've read more of it than I have
seen available.  Are these your pre-readers?  If so, then you guys
should be more careful with your spoilers!  Some of us have to
wait for the real release of the story.  

Ah, well, y'see, I released the entire act 2, ROUGH DRAFT,
upon them a few months back.  What I'm releasing to
rec.arts.anime.creative is the final draft with tweaking
and adjustments made here and there.

- Megane Muhoshin

If there's one disposable character, it's Megane.  Not that
he's a bad character (though I must say I've gotten to know
him a lot more from the "More Things Read" pieces than the
stories themselves), but if you never mentioned him again I
probably wouldn't notice.  

Looking back, it was a mistake to make him, but I've
gotta work with what I've made, and I figure I'll
just turn Megsy here into one of those 'always talked
about but never seen' characters.

Well, Ryouga needs his confusing love interests. 

Which is why I got rid of Ryo.

*cough*cough*Akari*cough*

I still
don't quite have a bead on what makes Tanya Noori tick
(I know what gives her a nervous tic, but that's a different
matter).  I'd like to see more of her in the story so we can
get a better grip on what sort of person she is.

Her origins, as written by her creator and the person
responsible for getting me out of writer's block
a thousand times over, is on the TPOH website
as a side story.
