Everything up until now was pointless.

A fic must begin with what makes it interesting, not with a canned scene 
from a thousand mediocre fics before it.

Ranma continued to stare at her. Akane wasn't a virgin. She had sex 
with a guy. True it was rape, but he wouldn't lose any honor now if
he refused to marry her.

Yes he would.

When something serious like this is revealed, the entire fic must be 
escalated as well. Serious situations will breed serious actions and 
reactions; in this case, Ranma will have to take his traditional values 
seriously, and marrying an 'unclean' woman would be unacceptable. Say 
goodbye to Kunou and Ryouga as well.

After Kasumi implied Ranma might try to seduce Akane, her watching a 
movie with an implied date rape scene, and Ranma hugging her- Akane 
tried to pound Ranma into paste with a mallet and a bokken and to turn 
him into a pin cushion with a bow and arrows (a bit excessive if you 
ask me).

Everyone tends to be a bit excessive. Explaining the depths of Akane's 
heart this way is difficult precisely because it exists in a different 
universe than the manga. If you have you're heart set on this path, then 
the reader is going to need more a more detailed map.

In the final analysis, the thrust of this fic is unconvincing and 
couched in a boring setting. Don't get me wrong, this type of thing is 
very hard to do properly, and, if done properly, I would be the first 
one to praise the piece as a masterpiece.
