I enjoy C&Cs as well, but I think the reason it has become less enjoyable,
is because people are not keeping with the true meaning and spirit of C&C.

C&C, for those who don't know or whatever, stands for Comments and
Criticisms. Lately, everyone has only been giving authors criticisms, and
no commentary. The true spirit of C&C is not to let any fic you read get
the silent compliment. Even if you just have to say "I liked your fic, keep
up the good work" It gives the author an idea of where his writing has its
strong and weak points. The comment portion of the C&C should state where
the reader thought the story was good, bad, or whether he just thought it
was overall good or bad. The Criticism part should include things like
grammar, spelling, and stuff the author missed, and the majority of the
reminants being the reader's personal opinion of how the story went, and
facts, comments, or examples of why he thought that.

Before you all go and attack me on this point of view, I want to say that
this is merely my opinion on the matter. You are free to agree or disagree
with me, and do your C&Cs your own way, I don't really care what you do. I
must admit, I have been tempted to just not post anymore to the FFML
because either 1) I would not get any C&Cs and 2) With all the negativity
going around the FFML right now, I'm not sure I'd want a C&C, because I'd
probably think it was a flame. I guess the only thing I really want to say
here, is please let's just get all this negativity off of the ML and get
back to actually enjoying things once again. Is that too much to ask? Let's
all stop acting like 5 year olds and preisdential candidates at an
electorial debate, and actually act as a group of writers, and fans of
Anime coming together to offer help, services, entertainment, ideas, and
suggestions in a place wehere all can enjoy and learn from the experience.

Ok, I'm done ranting now. Sorry for the long message, I needed to just get
this off of my mind.
