To be fair, I must say that people who write short one liners
saying "I liked it." are being equally unfair to the author.  There is
no such thing as a perfect piece of writing, and coming up with one or
two lines in such a fashion is an offhanded comment, not C&C.  If you

And it should not be taken as C&C.  I'm a person who is guilty of that on a
number of occasions.  Why? Because I'm not an English major or even close
(My wife is and she balks at some of the stuff I consider good English,
grammar and writing <G>). I'll point out if I see something that is way OOC
or if there is obvious errors but other then that I read the stories for
their enjoyment value not to pick them apart.  When I make a comment like
that it's just to let the author know that some one read it and enjoyed it.
It's not an attempt to be unfair to the author.  Just my $.02.
