(I can't believe I'm actually C&Cing this...)
I expected someone to come up with this eventually, although I didn't
expect it to be a fusion, and I would have least of all expected it from you.

After reading the series Futaba-kun Change, I noticed many similarities
between it and Ranma 1/2. In Ranma-kun Change I have placed the
Ranma 1/2 cast in the situations from Futaba-kun Change. I have done
the best that I could to adapt the Ranma 1/2 characters to the Futaba-
kun Change plots while still retaining the characters' personalities. This
wasn't as easy as it sounds, since Futaba and Misaki's relationship is so
different from Ranma and Akane's relationship (Ranma and Akane argue
a lot while Futaba and Misaki are much more affectionate.).
Yes, and also, FKC has a lot more tendency towards being hentai than R1/2
(That's Hiroshi Aro's fault; if you've actually seen the manga, you'll know
what I mean (and no, I haven't seen the manga; other people say the same
thing)), and Futaba actually thinks like a girl, and gets to be a
superstar, and etc. etc. etc. It's extremely hard to intermingle the
series since they are so different. (There's also the fact I hate the
series at the end since it changes so abruptly.)
And I take it that you've actually seen the manga.
[snip fic]
The problem here is that you've essentially just taken FKC, and replaced
them with Ranma characters. This is not good form. There are so many
possibilities.
1) If you dump Ranma's personality into his situations (including
stubbornness, etc.) and the rest of them respectively, it would be more
Ranma-like.
2) Can anyone see Genma giving birth? I can't. :)
3) Try intermingling the plots a little bit. Sometimes Ranma plots,
sometimes FKC plots, sometimes a mix of the two. If you seen the series
Wild Boot, you'll get what I mean (it was written by David Farr). He
intermingles the Reboot episodes (the software pirate one, the first Mouse
episode) with the Ranma characters and makes them believeable. He has also
integrated the "curse" aspect into Reboot, using uncontrolled energy to
activate it and controlled energy to turn back. Alot of his stuff is
original, however, and so we get to see new stuff, instead of just old
things. I've given this comment to you before, in Foreign Influence, and
I'll give it again: make your stories more original. That often grabs the
reader's attention, instead of something they've seen.
