Never read the book, though I'm considering all of the sudden, but I can 
say this:

This looks to be one of the more interesting Ranma-fics out there if you 
continue to keep it both original and as smooth-flowing as it has been 
recently.

A few things to be wary of when writing, though.

1) Watch your Akane Tendo characterization.  There are people who might 
try to have you killed.  I'm not one of them, (in fact, I'm looking to 
join WHAU) but I've had some bad experiences with Akane fan-boys who 
can't stand the thought of any sort of negative side to their goddess.

2) Beware the 'Perfect Ranma'  Some people may see transferring ten 
years of knowledge into the normal Ranma as a cheap plot device for 
making him better than the average human being.

3) He who incorporates too much techno-babble may be ignored by some of 
the more gifted c&c'ers.  (e.g.;  not me)
