Actually if you look at the fact that this is an older Shinji that had saved
the world it's not all the OOC.  The only think would be Rei having a babby,
but I cann't remember if her not beening able to have children is cannon or
not.

It's canon.

I'd use Asuka instead.  Rei is more or less related to Shinji and they shouldn't
be having children together.
