The Jusenkyo Guide & Plum stared at where the lost
boy had just taken the plunge.

"Oh sir, why you jump in THAT spring when
I point at THIS spring. Sir is very strange, no?"

Ryouga's head broke the water, he was male, he
was human, he...was fat?

"Ah, Plum, it look like you not have to take over
this post after all."

"What...?" Ryouga was still checking himself.

Plum nodded and looked at Ryouga. "Oh, sir,
terrible tragic story of Jusenkyo Guide who
drown there, five hundred year ago. Now 
whoever fall in spring become next Jusenkyo
Guide..."

The new Guide realized it was true, it was 
becoming harder to think of himself as Ryouga.
He was the Guide now, the one who tended
the springs of Jusenkyo...

As his identity faded, the one formally known
as Ryouga Hibiki realized at least he'd never
get lost again...
