Ego trip part 3
Mayotta
[Lost]
Jun looked around at his new surroundings as he placed his hand
on his head. "Oww" he said as felt his head throb in pain. He saw tree's
surrounding him and sat up looking suprised. In front of him was a purple
tree with a large lizard clinging to it. "Where the hell am I?" he said
looking around. "Oh no I've gotten lost again!" he cried.
He hated to admit it to any one but unless he was in totally
familiar surroundings he got totally and completely lost. He was as bad
as that guy 'Ryoga'. "Well maybey not that bad." he said to comfort
himself. He stood shakily and looked around. "Must be decorations from
the festival." he said walking around a bit. He soon realized that he was
not in school any more. "Am I dead?" he asked thinking back to the
machine. He walked forward a few feet when he heard a rustling in the
bushes. He quickly turned to see several soldiers backing towards him.
They were staring at the bushes. "What the..." said Jun watching them as
they ignored his presence. They had looks of fear on their faces and
backed right past him. Then a small tank struggled to get through the
bushes. It was crudely built and made no engine noises. "Huh?" said Jun
staring at it. It turned its turret and aimed directly at him.
"Better run little man!" said a voice from inside the Tank which
had a large face drawn on the front of it.
"Ye gods! It speaks!" said one of the petrified soldiers.
Jun looked at the turret carefully. It was large enough and the
barrel was pretty long but the 'exit hole' was very small. He doubted if
any thing large enough to hurt him without a near or direct hit could
come out of it.
He stepped to the side. The turret slowly corrected. A smile
formed on Juns lips.
"Can't move that very fast can you?" he asked quietly staying out
of the sights of the cannon. The cannon roared as it shot at him. He
stood calmly as the bullet whizzed by him missing by several feet but
causing his tie and jacket to blow in the wind. A tree Behind him
exploded and sent bark in every direction. The damage to the tree was
small as he suspected no explosives were used in the ammunition besides
the firing powder.
Jun looked at the tank. "Y-you shot at me!" he said dumbly. He
walked up to the Tank and growled at it. "You shot me you jerk!" The tank
slowly turned and Jun angrily walked beside it shouting various
obscenities at the large metal hunk. "You aren't fast enough in that
thing to kill me are you?" he said smiling at it.
Inside the tank the driver growled. "How has one of them figured
it out?" he thought angrily.
"They're supposed to think its a dragon!" cried the gunner from
above him. They cursed at the man outside the Tank. They knew a man could
easily out run the machine in such close quarters. "Now what?" said the
gunner.
"We do it manually." said the driver. The gunner looked at him
not comprehending. "Get out there and use the spear, I'm getting tired of
pedaling this thing." he said angrily.
Jun angrily Kicked the side of the tank. He stopped and starred
at it. "This feels like its made from sheet metal." he said dumbly
looking at the large dent in the side of the tank. He feel to his knees
avoiding the barrel of the gun as it passed over his head. The wheels
looked like bike tires. "What the hell?" he said reaching up and grabbing
the barrel. It stopped cold in his hands and he heard grunting from
inside the metal shell.
"What are you doing fool?" yelled the driver looking annoyed at
the gunner as he strained to turn the turret.
"It's jammed." he said straining harder.
"You weakling let me try." said the gunner.
Jun looked at the barrel in his hand and squeezed it. It crumpled
with very little effort. "The metal is pretty thick but it feels like
aluminum foil." he thought suprised. He decided to try something. He put
his hands on the bottom of the tank and lifted. The two men inside cried
out in terror.
"Do you know how much this thing weighs?" cried the driver as the
now vertical floor was pushed in easily as the boy punched at it. Then
without warning the boys fist came through the floor and began to rip a
hole in the floor.
"All right boys you've had your fun now get out here." he said to
the men cowering inside the tank after the hole was large enough. His
hand was a little sore but he had just punched through what looked like
two inch thick steel. He turned to see a large group of soldiers was
staring at him in awe.
"He has defeated the Dragon!" said one of the soldiers in a
shocked voice.
"Yes" said the commander of the unit looking at the over turned
tank. "A 'dragon' with wheels." he said glaring at the men. They blushed
and backed away.
The two men crawled out of the tank watching the man fearfully
and Jun grabbed them. To his suprise he easily lifted them into the air
by their collars. They were large men and easily dwarfed him by two or
three feet. He lifted them into the air over his head by the waist and
looked at the troops behind him. They were wearing different uniforms
from these men and watched him warily. "Hello." he said to them with a
grin.
"Tell me great warrior how is it you defeated this 'dragon'?"
asked the commander in a tone that said he did not believe what he saw
one bit.
"Well, I ripped it open and thats it, my people call them tanks."
he said to the man not quite believing it himself. The captures stiffened
at the mention of his people.
"There are more monsters like you out there like you?!" cried the
gunner.
"Afraid so." replied Jun.
"No doubt you will now declare your allegiance to the Akama and
reign terror on the 'pitiful dogs' of Josei?" said the commander smugly.
The soldiers around him backed away in fear.
"Huh? What's an Atama?" said Jun dumbly.
"We won't fall for this obvious trick. It is just a ploy to get
us to believe the Emperor is an invincible monster." said the commander
angrily.
"Emperor?" asked Jun dumbly. "Look pal I'm just looking for my
friends so we can go home. I'm lost and tired so give me a break Ok?" he
grumbled.
"Be silent! Take him to Sonkei." said the angry commander.
Jun allowed himself to be drug to a campsite and placed in a
makeshift cell/log cabin. He looked and saw Itazura and Phil standing in
the cell with him. "Hey." he said calmly and sat in the corner. "So whats
the plan?" he asked non chatantly.
"We wait until night to see if they find Jenn and Achika for us
and then break out." said Phil.
Jun was about to voice his agreement when Itazura cried out
angrily. "Escape?! are you insane?! They have spears and swords! We are
going to die! They can kill us any time!" she cried sobbing.
"The can not." said Phil.
"Wha-?" said Itazura dumbly.
"I don't think we are on earth." said Phil looking at her. "We
can leave any time and I dont think they can stop us." he said to her.
"He's right were allot stronger and faster than they are." agreed
Jun.
"Not on earth?" cried Itazura.
"Do you recognize any of the plants and animals here? Aside from
a few grasses and close matches I sure haven't" he exsplained. Itazura
looked at him as if he was insane. "Besides Why did it took six of them
to get me here even when I let them?" asked Jun looking at her calmly.
"How can you be so calm?" she demanded.
"C'mon its just like an anime." said Jun casually leaning on the
wall of the make shift log cabin prison with a small grin.
"Your enjoying this?" she said angrily.
"Immensely." replied Jun as he dozed off.
Inside a tent nearby to the prisoners a meeting was taking place.
"So full blooded Asurans?" said the man at the right of the young boy at
the head of the table, he had long sandy blend hair tied back in a pony
tail and wore a huge sword across his back.
"Yes, Commander hunter." said one of the elderly looking men at
the end of the Table.
The man seated next to The swordsman looked at the report on the
table in front of him. "Can it be true?" he asked.
"There is no doubt." said the commander.
"Alek how can this be?" said the young man at the head of the
table to the commander as he looked at the report again.
"It just confirms our suspicions that the emperor is an Asuran."
said the elder.
"If it is so that cell won't hold them." said a man at the other
side of the table.
"I know." said the swordsman. "They plan to enslave us again for
another two hundred years or longer. The bloodline remains strong only in
a precious few." said Commander Hunter.
"We cannot allow this!" cried a younger man at the other end of
the table.
Alek smiled "They use our own people as grunts because their own
numbers are so few. Their own offspring will once again bring about their
defeat." said commander Hunter with a grin.
"We cannot take any chances. " said the young man at the head of
the table.
"Yes my prince." said the occupants of the table and they stood,
then and explosion hit the Tent and air rushed by blowing the walls in
the wind.
"The prisoners have escaped." said Hunter calmly.
Jun punched through the wall of the cabin with a loud crash.
"Run!" he cried and they tore through the camp running as fast as they
could. They were gone before the guards Knew what hit them.
"I don't get it." said Itazura "I don't feel any faster." she
said after seeing the camp disappear into the darkness.
"It's like an old gaijin comic. A strange visitor from another
planet with powers beyond those of mortal men... etc. etc." said Jun
smiling as they came to a stop about a mile away.
"But they all speak Japanese." said Itazura.
"Blind luck. We're lucky this world is so similar to ours. We
could have easily come to a world with no oxygen or worse." said Phil.
"Worse?" asked Itazura.
"Yes, an entire universe of sex starved demonds and demonesses
with huge..." started Phil.
"That's disgusting!" exclaimed Itazura.
"Horrid isn't it?" said Phil looking completely serious.
"Now what?" asked Jun.
"Easy, we find the remains of my machine and see if we can fix
it." said Phil.
"Its here?" asked Jun.
"Came through with us." said Itazura smiling now that they had an
objective.
"Plus we have to find out where Jenn and Achika are...and Victor
and his lackey as well." said Jun looking like he was having the time of
his life.
"You think they are here?" said Itazura.
"Very likely considering they were in the room with us." said
Phil.
"Great now I'm a chaperone on some damn field trip." Itazura
grumbled.
"The machine looked pretty bad, no one should be able to fix it
here the technology levels are very low from what I've seen so far, and
the damage seemed pretty bad." said Phil forbodeingly.
"Great." muttered Jun.
The group walked for about forty five minutes or so and started down a
long dirt road. There was a noise behind them and they turned quickly to
find Jenn, Ryo ken, and Victor, who was passed out. Vic's lackey sat at
his side and patted a wet cloth on his head. They were all sitting on a
river bank, watching the water and looking tired.
"It's about time you guys got here, Where the hell are we?" asked
Jenn.
Achika looked at them with tired eyes and smiled. "We caught
dinner." she said poking at some fish over the small fire they had made.
Jun sat down with them. "What have you guys been doing?" he
asked.
"Probably the same thing you were. Wandering around this stupid
alien forest thats what. We almost got eaten twice today." said Achika
"Actually we got to meet the locals." said Itazura.
"There are people here?" asked Jenn.
"Yea, none to friendly either." said Jun. "And they speak
Japanese." he added.
"What happened to sleeping beauty here?" said Itazura.
The moron landed in the water when we got here. where ever here
is. We saved him and wished we hadn't the rest of the day. He pissed and
moaned the whole freaking day." said Jenn whaping him an the head
playfully with an annoyed look.
"Hey don't treat him that way!" said Ryoken growling at her.
"Sorry." said Jenn.
"He was quite helpful." Achika said looking at Ryoken.
"I am a trained ninja." he said looking at the group who didn't
look surprised.
"No wonder he keeps you around doormat. You must be pretty
useful." said Jun
Ryoken growled at him. "He wasn't always this way. He still
treats me like a friend when others aren't watching." he said looking at
the face of Vic with sad eyes.
"We have to watch him he isn't to be trusted, regardless of how
he acts now. What happened to my machine was no accident and he was the
only person to gain from its destruction." said Phil.
Ryoken nodded and sighed. "He is right and I will kill anyone
who tells him I told you that." he sighed and leaned back against a
nearby tree.
"What strange world have I found myself in?" he sighed looking at the
sky.
