people, please lighten up a tiny bit on this.  We were just giving
people a chance to maybe win a prize or two.

You're only giving _certain_ people a chance... and denying others.

Do you see that, and how really annoying it is to be shunned like this?

Actually, they're denying chances to certain _stories_, not certain
people.  I can understand people identifying with their writing, but not
that closely.

But I guess you haven't been writing a genre for about three-four years.

But, no, it wasn't just 'lemons' that were banned, it was 'lemon scented'.
Every single thing that I've written has been 'lemon scented if it wasn't
outright lemon.

And I have a right to stand up for my genre, thank you very much, and not
anyone treat the genre like it's worthless and less fit for children than
violence!
