  Haven't heard from you in a while :)

I had no idea that Taro was such a public spirited idealist.

  Might need work. I don't claim to know how to write him (probably 
should put more emphasis on his new personal grudge instead). 

What are Akane and Ukyo doing interfering in a semi-formal challenge 
like that?  And why isn't Ranma objecting?

  Hmm, hadn't thought of that (I kinda figured that neither Akane nor 
Ukyo would like to just stand there and watch Ranma get beat up; they 
don't do that very often, if I recall (excepting times when they really 
can't do anything to help, eg. Ranma vs. Ryu)). Will take note of it in 
any future revision. 
  Out of curiosity, when has Ranma ever objected to interference when it 
was in his favor? (he's had plenty of 'assists,' ranging from Akane's 
hose in the gymnastics competition to Tofu's intervention in the Mousse 
battle to Akane defending Ranma from Saffron's fire attacks) 

And lastly, wasn't the Hiryu-Shoten-Ha overkill?
