Subject: [FFML] [Fanfic] [Dark] [MI] 'Over-Due Rent'

Here's something less spammy from Mi. From me. Yeah. I didn't plan
on
sending it out so soon. I was hoping to get at least another two or
three parts written, because I have no clue where I am going with this.
Also, if anyone can help me think of a better title, I would really
appreciate it. 'Over-Due Rent' was the first and only thing that came
to my mind. And any other sort of suggestions would also be much
welcomed. Thanks. *smile*

Let's see... I don't know if this was intentional, but Kotsuya-san's
words reminded me very much of the half-mad ramblings that H. P.
Lovecraft liked to include in his narrations, especially his refusal to
divulge what had happened in the dark of the night.

If it was intentional, you've got a reader hooked from the get-go. Most
of HP's most terrifying works seemed to involve "plain folks" who wound
up way out of their depths--the MI crew is just about perfect for this
(unpleasant) role.

I've seen some Lovecraftian Xovers before, but they usually involve
Ranma or other "super" characters--people who are at least somewhat
equipped to battle the Other.

I look forward to the rest.

As far as titles go, I'm afraid I can't be much help until I've read the
whole story (although I might come up with something decent before you
post it on RAAC or a website).
