Hmm. First, for a title, might I suggest "Allies and Enemies"? Playing
off
the Starcraft slogan, of course.

Sounds utterly corny, but how about "Invasion Japan?" ;)

Second of all...

| "Brother..."
| He looked up at her, the world in complete clarity around him.
| "Yes?"
| "What are..."
| "You are the first of many."
| The Kuno siblings both looked up at the towering form. It's
| single eye regarded them as if they were the insects and it was the
| magnifying glass.
| "You are but the first of many, and when our numbers are
| sufficient, this planet will be ours. There are none that will stand
| against the Zerg."
|
| ...

Gah. And the Terrans without reliable flame-throwers or laser or
nuclear
technology. (Cloaked Ghosts with a Defensive Matrix and an escort of
several
dozen Marines and Archons. Nukes. The Overmind. Worked for me.)

Of course, since you're introducing the Zerg now, there are other
opportunities for divergence as well. Perhaps...

Uhhh... Kuno and Kodachi siding with the Zerg doesn't sound too
pretty, considering what they did to Kerrigan. Of course, as soon as the
Overmind realizes that Kuno ain't exactly the paragon of man, he'll be
scot free :)

//Greetings, Terrans. I am Tassadar, of the Templar, and I have come to
aid
you.//

This was too much to resist, especially considering that the Protoss
run on
what they call Psi...

Except for the tiny fact that Tass is dead (well, then again, since
the Overmind DID appear, this must be before that, then...). Zeratul and
the Dark Templar hanging with the Nerimites would kick, however :)

Ranma: "Egh, what the heck are you?!"

Zeratul: "My kind have been persecuted for many centuries, human, and
you dare to mock me?!" (unsheathes bad-arse warp blade-- oops, was that
your hydra? ;)
