The draw of anonymity is quite powerful.  It can be quite liberating,
sometimes too much so.  Just wander into your average AOL chat room to see
what I mean.  :)


    That's very true, I have nothing against pen names. I bet a LOT of authors
used a pen name in early fics, it's just easier that way. I remember when I
wrote UY: The Kidnapping I used Shutaro Mendou, I also kinda disavowed any
knowledge of the fic later but that's another story.    So who cares about pen
names, really? Second question I have is about this so-called 'Hitomi Incident'
this happened while I was taking a break from the list so I have no idea what
exactly happened, if someone could fill me in (private mail please) I'd
appreaciate it.
