What does a grendel have to do with wild horses?? Acording to Beowolf 

(probibly mispeled.....) their somewhat like a yeti....

I think the person who originally posted this was refering to the Dark
Horse Comics character Grendel, and not the classical one in Beowulf.  That
Grendel was supposed to be VERY powerful and people did seek out the right
to be called that.

As far as Wild Horses, I believe it's a play on Ranma's name.  Ranma's name
does mean "wild horse" in Japan.
