First off, a correction to my original post, that didn't clarify something:

As has been stated, "ki" and "chi" are different pronunciations of the same
thing. However, there is a system (one among many, as there is no widely
accepted standard for defining the thing) in which ki is differentiated
into two types by applying two pronunciations. This is the system I prefer,
and the system on which my post was initially based. I'm not claiming to be
right, and I won't accept that I'm wrong until someone can prove otherwise
with any certainty. It's just one way of looking at it.

There are, however, two forms of ki. Differentiating between them becomes
simpler when applying two different pronunciations.

There are an infinite number of ways of channeling ki. One is the Kiai,

If you're referring to the power levels in Dragonball, you're close, but
not quite there. The kiai is not the principle means of increasing power in
Dragonball. Indeed, there are MANY means of accomplishing this: meditation,
training (ESPECIALLY training), coming from a race of beings who by nature
tend to attain high levels of power...

I'd be very interested to know just where exactly you get all this
information? Have you studied KI/CHI or are you a 7th dan in some type of
Martial Art? I've been following this thread for a while and most of what
I've seen have been speculations or statements such as: I have
researched...

Just exactly where did you study this? From what book, which Martial
Artist?
