Sorry it's taken me so long.  The chapter turned out bigger that I intended,
soo I've broken it up.  I'll post the rest later.

What's happened before.  After falling in the spring, Ranma was so mad (s)he
chased Genma without stopping until they came to the Amazon village.
Therefore neither knew about what hot water would do to them.  Genma was in
the lead and had enough time to eat a little before Ranma caught up to him.
This proved his undoing as the Amazons tried to have Panda steaks for dinner
that night.  To make up for depriving Ranma of her father, Cologne sent
Shampoo to watch over the young girl until she was safe with her friends or
family.  So far Shampoo isn't sure Ranma has found any friends or family and
has gone to let Cologne know.  By the way Ranma still doesn't know about hot
water, since Shampoo has not let her stop her journey long enough to find out.
And Ranma's just had her first "Time of the Month".
