In a small room, one littered with various books, posters, and other
things of human creation, a young man types away on a computer. He seems
to be concerned about something; a frown dominates his features, and his
brow if furrowed in frustration. He turns around, blinks, then gives the
friendliest smile imaginable.

"Do you know me? I'm an anime fanfiction writer!" He gestures over to
his computer. "I write stories based on various anime series, and post
them over the 'Net."

The young man shrugs, and pulls out his wallet. "Problem is, the internet
is not a very friendly place. Most of the people involved in anime
fanfiction have come in long after I have, and have no clue as to what I'm
like or why I believe what I do. Heck, people have talked about my
works to my face without having a clue that I was the one who authored
them."

He reaches into his wallet, and pulls out a small green card. "That's why
I carry the Otaku Express Card. Even if they think I'm the guy who wrote
"Artemis' Lover", they still treat me as though I'm someone special at
cons and at anime stores."

He turns away for a moment, and presses (ctrl) and the D key at the
same time. Once done, he again smiles that winning smile. "The Otaku
Express Card. Don't leave home without it."

A closeup of the card is shown. It looks just like the American version -
except there's a picture of a stoic Ruri Hoshino on the front. Letters
appear on the card, as though a typewriter were being used on it.
