This is just something that's been bugging me for a while.

Aeka was due to marry her BROTHER and NOONE sees ANYTHING WRONG with 
that arrangement?

Save the flames for the marshmallows, kiddo! There is nothing wrong 
with it within the context of the story. Yes, we would think it wrong 
for two people from Earth to do that because people of Earth are taught 
that such things are immoral. However, because the people of Jurai's 
Royal Family are brought up to view this practice as acceptable, Ayeka 
and Yosho do not see this as immoral.

There is a reason for their behavior as well. If the Jurai Royal family 
married outside itself all the time, then its probable that their power 
would dwindle with each consecutive generation until their powers were 
weak or even faded all together. That would leave the universe open to 
attacks from beings like Kain.

Not a pretty thought is it?
