Gamlain,
Took you long enough to write... ^_^
I really enjoyed the previous parts...

Eheh. sorry about that Minna. Here's the reformated
version of the teaser I sent earlier.
That's all right, to err is to be human... ^_^
One slip was all it took. One instant of holding back
because her enemy was human and not a monster.
I take that someone, human, for a change, was fighting
a senshi?
Mina felt the sword punch through her guts, cold like
lightning running through her and up into her heart,
and then staggerd back, collapsing off his blade in
shock.
Sigh...
Silly Minako, you should never ever hold back in a
fight... conceal your full abilities, yes... but the
ONE big no-no in a fight is to hold back, as your
opponent certainly won't.
It hurt, but not as much as the realization that
she was dying.
It wasn't fair, really. She was susposed to win, she
was Sailor V, and she was stronger, faster than this
man, she knew it. There was no way she was susposed
to be killed by some maniac with a sword. There was so
much left she wanted to - no, needed to do. And
something else...something she needed to find - someone
she needed to find.
hmmm, so far so good, no errors yet... very IC
Spelling - There was no way she was *susposed* to be killed by some maniac
with a sword.
Try - Supposed
Love. That was what. She hadn't found love. And now
she was dying and it wasn't right, she knew it wasn't
right that somthing as simple as a swordfight could
kill her, and the darkness was rising up as the killer
approached. She fought with every weapon she could
muster, every ounce of strength and skill and will to
hold back the darkness and it wasn't enough. she needed
more. Desperately she reached for anything to hold back
the darkness and touched something ancient.
The darkness is your friend... Don't fight it... Can't
you hear its beautiful silent croon... To join us in
the soft velvety eternal darkness...
It was like touching light. Something deep within was there, more than
enough power for anything at all, but blocked off, walled away.
As her conciousness began to fade Mina tore at that barrier within, and it
cracked.
Ah, the last internal reserves of the dying person...
Petrov was smiling, as he reached down to make shure
the girl was dead. He may have broken the rules by
using the gun, but in a few moments Connor McCloud
would be dead, and he would be that much closer to the
prize.
It makes sense that someone would break the rules of
the gathering. ^_^
Spelling - sure, not shure
It was while he was savoring that dream and checking
the girl's now non-existant pulse that he first became
aware of what would be his emminent demise, as the
girl's body twitched under his fingers.
Oh dear, Petrov's a dead dead immortal...
She made a tiny wimpering sound in the back of her
throat jerked a little, and then her eyes snapped open,
no longer blue, but a seathing, furious gold glaring at
him across too little space.
That last sentance didn't make much sense, you know...
Were you trying for - She made a tiny wimpering sound
in the back of her throat as it jerked a little, and
then her eyes snapped open, no longer blue, but a
seathing, furious gold glaring at him across far too
little space.
Super Saiyajin.... no, wait, saiyajin have gold hair &
green eyes... hmmm, I know 'possession by the Lord Of
Nightmare'.
What looked like a teanaged girl but wasn't grabed him
by the throat with one hand and threw him fourty feet,
slamming into a wall with enough force to break both
shoulder blades and more than a few ribs.
Spelling - grabbed, not grabed,
Forty feet, not fourty feet
After falling the half story from where he'd hit the
wall to the floor, he stood, shaking in agony,
desperate to get up while a cacophony of voices rang
out around him, screaming something he didn't
understand.
Concussions are nasty things... -_-
But he did understand the gesture the girl was making,
the same one she'd made to throw those golden bolts
that had destroyed his gun, and dodged as well as he
was able, lurching sideways from where the blast should
have been sent.
Not golden bolts, but golden laser beams ^_^
But the girl didn't throw the bolt. Instead, as the
golden glow collected before her fingers, she grabbed
it and squeezed, and the light erupted from her
fingers, forming a sword of energy that hung in the air
with a sound like a silver chime.
Oh oh, Minako has a light saber, Mr bad-guy, you're in very big trouble now...
Venus didn't hesitate, flickering across the floor to attack him. With
both arms mostly useless, Petrov was little threat, but he was healing
fast, and desperate, and the instincts of the leader of the ancient Senshi
were wise enough not to leave such an opponent living,
even if Minako was not.
Good, good... at least it shows the ancient Senshis
weren't fools... Remember, There can only be one... ^_^
She struck his head off with a single blow, and stood
gasping as his corpse toppled sideways, a nameless
dread building in her as the onrushing darkness faded
from her vision.
Nameless dread, bad... but at least you're see with no
trouble now that the darkness is gone from your eyes
All around her something had been released from the
man, a flood of energy, pouring into her, memories,
thoughts...power...blotting out the only now returning
world, overwealming her with the thoughts of someone
she wasn't. And the only way she had to fight back was
with the memories of the person she was and fifteen
years wasn't enough.
Oh no, a bad quickening... Don't you dare make Mina, a
bloodthirsty immortal heckbent on getting the Prize...
She needed more, and reached for it, where she knew it
would be hiding behind that now cracked barrier and
with a final soundless snap the barriers separating her
old self from her new fell completely away, and all the
memories of Venus poured into her mind.
Hooboy, memory lane time...
She was screaming with the pain of it - the lightning
that burned into her was agony, but that was nothing
compared to the assault on her mind.
Shouldn't that be 'She screamed from the pain of it...'
And that was completely eclipsed by the agony of what
Venus had lost, so long ago.
All about her a reign of violence raged throught the
warehouse, as the power of the quickening and her own
pain touched off the power of Venus.
Ah, the requisite pryotechics display that every
Highlander show requires, nah, demands... ^_^
Cresent Beams erupted from her skin in waves, ripping
through steel and concrete, while the lightning tore
the windows asunder and her own voice tortured the air.
Then, finally, agonizingly, it was over, and Minako
collapsed to the floor, unconciousness coming so
swiftly that she missed the first stirings of Connor
Mccloud's return to life.
Boy, is McCloud going to be surprised when he wakes
up...

In all this sun bright madness takes its toll please
have exact change the world tomorrow is another day
like today the skies weep blood because the sun is god
it hurts to be in love with something that isn't there
again today like it wasn't yesterday is a memory of
sorrow without joy to the endless sea between the stars
have fallen to earth and burned my hands holding my
dreams back from the empty darkness inside out of
control and screaming your name.
