^_^** Hi everyone!! I'm pretty new here, and I'm not quite sure what the drill
is -- So PLEASE.. if I'm doing anything wrong tell me. ^___^ Feel free to give
me "C&C" (that's what it's called right?? Kekeke) :) Kay.. Now onto the fic!!
Wait wait.. Uhh.. If any charachters in this story seem similar to real life,
it is entirely intentional. This is a fanfic about the music group H.O.T.
More information about H.O.T can be found @ http://soompi.simplenet.com or

OKay.. NOW onto the fix. :)
"We're sorry, there's nothing we can do. You must leave this group and return
to America. This has been a horrible ordeal for asll of us, and we shall miss
you dearly, but you must go back to America," our manager said sadly.
I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes, threatning to burst at any
moment. Already Kang Ta and Jae Sun were crying in each other's arms. Eric,
who had broken his schedual to visit Carolyn, was talking to her soberly in
the corner. I looked at my long-time playmate, Hee Jun, hoping to see in his
eyes the usual smile and happy thoughts, but all I could see was the pain of
betrayal and seperation.
Without warning, I crumbled, and the tears came fast and furious. I had lied
to these people. We had all lied. Our manager was right, there was nothing we
could do but return to the country we had come from, America. After all the
hard work, we had to return to where we were before.

That night I lay in my room sadly reminicing about the past. All my memories
seemed golden when I went back in time through my mind. Sitting up, I realized
that my story could be valuble, that many people would think that it was some
great fiction. Heck, I could go back home and get a book deal with this plot.
Sitting down at my table, I began to write. I started with the beginning.
Everything had started with an E-Mail.
~*~*~*~*~
"OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!! Carolyn!! Can you believe it? They need backup
dancers for H.O.T!!" I squealed in delight.
"I know I know!!! I almost DIED when I read that mail-- The only problem is,
they're trying out in groups of four, yet you and me only make 2," she
replied.
"No problem!" I said confidently, "You know Jae and Di will really really want
to come. My only fear is that we won't be good enough...."
Carolyn laughed, "Are you kidding?? We've been practicing for months! There's
no way that anyone can do our tricks, we've got skillz!"
Feeling skeptical, I shrugged, "I guess so, but I bet lotsa people there will
be better than us. I think we should practice more."
"AiiiiiTe.. Sure whatever."
~*~*~*~*~
"WWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHATT?? No! Di! That's impossible! The tryouts are tomorrow!"
I felt like throwing the phone in my hand across the room.
"Dude! What are you talking about? I told you Kim! My GRANDMA IS DYING. I have
to go SEE her. There's nothing I can DO about it." she said, exasperated.
I hung up on her in despair. Not only was I angry because we would only be 3,
which would make us have to work harder in order to make them decide to pick
us instead of the other groups already together, but I was angry at myself.
How could I be so selfish? Di was right, her grandmother was much more
important than stupid backup dancing tryouts. Besides, maybe Di would come
back in time for them. The first set of tryouts were to last for 3 days so
that everyone got a chance.
~*~*~*~*~
Jae, Carolyn, Di, and I had gone to the mall about 3 weeks prior to the
tryouts and had bought really adorable matching outfits. It seemed empty in
the car without Di, there was no blue where there usually was.
As we drove up and parked the car, we joined the line, which was quickly
getting longer. We talked to each other nervously and looked around,
appraising our fellow tryoutees. Jumping around, we talked about everything
from KangTa, to how we were going to do in the tryouts. As we got closer and
closer to the door, the silences began to stretch, and by the time we got to
the door and were ready to be admitted, we had not talked for five minutes.
The man walked up to the rope, unfastened it, took one look at us, then
fastened it again.
"I'm sorry girls, but these tryouts are only for guys. H.O.T only needs guy
backup dancers. It would be too distracting for them to have girls with them."
"WHAT? What do you mean these are "ONLY FOR GUYS". Do you mean I've been
standing here for two friggin hours to be told that I'm not EQUIPPED to try
out as an H.O.T backup dancer?!" I was fuming.
"I'm afraid so, miss," he replied.
Clapping his hands, the guy yelled, "Sorry people! Come back tomorrow, I'm
afraid that's the last of the tryouts for today!"
Many guys looked at us as if we were the reason that they did not get in. Jae
scowled at them and not one looked back as they shuffled away.
