Akane doesn't lose face in this story, she just lends it out. 

Wait, I've read this fic. I was under the impression that the another 'Akane',
who we know who really is- that when Shampoo used her shampoo techinque- Xiang
Fang Ga (right?), on Akane side of our poor victim, and attempted to erase
memories of Ranma from her. Unfortunately, when she did, she also inadvertely
created false memories and feelings for Akane's side which replaced the
original host's line of thought, since everything related to 'Ranma' was
removed by Shampoo. The effect vanishes once the curse is reversed to the
original form. 

Besides, no need to take it seriously. This is a 'what-if' fic, and if
Akaneniichuan was created long ago, long before she met Ranma, then why can't
Henry make up his own rules. This is an alternate universe fic, so he has
right to do so.

Oh, btw Henry, I liked that series and I want to read some more. When's future
parts coming out?
Unfortuantely, I'm bit disappointed that this seems to be too similiar to my
fanfic idea. While I asssure others that it wasn't the one that inspired my
fic, I just hope nobody don't go pointing at me for plagarsim when it really
isn't.
