All I can say after reading through the series as a whole
is ... I like it. It works. It makes sense (provided you count beings
from out of time and space as making sense). The characters seem to
act like they are supposed to. (Can't really say with Kuno - for him,
the trappings on the outside are so thick that in the original series,
you can never really see lies beneath; what is shown to be hiding
there in Bliss makes as much sense as anything else would).

Other than the Lovecraftian stuff (and possible the fact that you break
them up after going to such trouble to put them together, but that all
works out really well anyway - I can't think of any better way to do
it), though, I can't see why anyone would classify this as evil, or
baaaad, or perverted, or shocking, or whatever - and this despite
being somewhat of a fanatic on some characterization issues.

(Admittedly, I wanted to believe to the very last that Kuno wasn't
Kuno, but hey, I'm stubborn and dense. On that note, I don't think
it made that much sense for him to chose "Ukyo" of all names, even
*if* she was there at the end.)

(Actually, as far as being bad/evil/nasty/sick/whatever goes, it
almost disappointed me - with *both* Bartram and Loader in the header,
I'd expected something *really* evil ^_^)

The only thing I don't really agree with is the way the Lovecraftian
angle is used - just some vague threath in the background, and then
it shows up, they escape and that's it... When I think about it, I
don't know what I would have preferred, but... Ah, I dunno, I guess
I'm just being a fanatic on this, too.

I regret not having been able to (or, as the case may be, having lacked
the energy to) give any more constructive input as the story
progressed, but...

...thanks. It's given a few good moments of reading, despite being
a bit slow-moving in the beginning. ^_^
