Here's my 2 yen on the matter...

I honestly doubt that our Spatula Goddess would cease to exist just
because she's been rejected.  There are those who think of her as the
"tragic heroine", but I will never be one of them.  IMHO, she would:
1. leave Nerima [and go to the US, just to put a lot of distance
between her and "him",  2. Beat the ever-living-feces out of Ranma for
rejecting her and finding someone else, or 3. Be calm as she accepts
life, remains as Ranma's best friend, and forsakes men altogether
[Please, kami, do NOT let that happen!].
